Twenty-One Owl didn’t get up when he saw me enter the hall. He just stared at me, his eyes drinking me in. He sat with his back against my dorm room door in dark jeans and a white, collared shirt. His legs were stretched out before him like he’d been there for quite a while. “I don’t want to talk to you,” I said. He looked down at his phone in his hand and nodded.
