Siana worked for hours, pouring over the dough, she had a hard time deciding what she was going to do and eventually decided on baklava since for some reason she had an abundance of nuts in the cabinets. Not to mention that it didn't need the resting time of a puff pastry or something like that and she could be busy the whole time. Stretching the pastry was a labor of love and frustration. Getting it thin enough that it could be read through fast enough that it didn't dry out and not tearing it was a strange balancing act that she had to do three times before she finally got a dough that she was happy with. Baklava involved more butter than she'd originally planned for but at least she didn't have to worry about consistency since all the butter had to be melted. So she brushed and layered
