6. Megan gets feisty

*back to Jason's POV*

I'm very late for school all because of Dan. He ditched me for a girl. A girl?.

Sometimes I follow Dan to school in his car. Or the bus, which I also missed. If my perfect attendance is ruined, I will kill Dan.

I have been talking about killing him a lot that today I might actually do it.

Now I was running to school, and I think I might actually slump to my death. I may have perfect scores in all subjects but sports not so much. I occasionally have Dan to help me in sports.

Running to school from my house is a 30 minutes walk. Taking a bus or Dan's car is 20 minutes.

I was still running when a car stopped at my sides. I turned to see who was the driver and it was Megan. This time it wasn't a black Camry but a black Toyota Corolla le (picture in media slot above). It's very obvious that black is her colour.

Her is tied in a loose bun with some stray hairs falling out. She was wearing a purple singlet with a leather jacket that has fur at the neck line and a black knee pencil skirt that was cut slightly on the side.

"What are you doing?" She asked bending her head slightly so she could see me.

I walked forward to the window of the car.

"I....I am walking to school", I said.

"Huh? Do you do this everyday?

The walk from your house is 20 minutes" she said surprised.

"em....uh.... it's actually 30 minutes. I follow Dan sometimes but he called at the last minute and said he couldn't take me and when I was waiting for him then, I also missed the bus. Although I do walk sometimes but I usually start early so I won't be late and....." I trail off, I was rambling and I doubt if she heard me. Embarrassment flush through my face.

She chuckled. " Get in, I will take you to school" she said shifting and opening the passengers door beside her.

"No..... I can't. Don't worry, I will walk it's..........." I said attempting to move ahead.

Don't blame me. I have some dignity left. And besides the school will freak out. Bad girl Megan gives Jason nerd a ride to school. That news will be the topic of discussion for enternity.

"Shut up and get in Jason" she said in a calm but intimidating voice.

I entered the car immediately. Excuse me, I don't have a death wish. I still have long life ahead.

We drove in silence, a surprisingly comfortable silence till we got to school and she parked the car.

Sadly on Thursday, I have biology on my first class as well as Megan. Yay me. Note the sarcasm.

We got down and I could hear gasps from students and mumbling.

"Is that a nerd with Megan?"

"Why are they together?"

"Did Megan give a nerd a ride?"

As you can see or read. No one even knows my name. Earlier I was assuming my name will be on the headline but it's just Megan and the nerd.*sighs*. Sad.

Megan started walking towards the school and I followed behind her like a puppy. I fear if I leave her for a minute, I will die from the students killing looks. Well if looks could really kill.

We made our way to the hallway and I walked to my locker.

In this high school, lockers are arranged alphabetically. So mine was J and Megan M.

My locker was on the left side of the hallway while Megan was on the opposite side (right) after 5 lockers from mine.

Do you understand? No! Yes!.

I opened my locker to carry my books when I heard Megan talking with somebody. I bent my head slightly from my locker to see who it was.

Megan was taking books from her locker and a boy was behind her. I know the boy. Everybody knows him. He is equally as popular as Megan. They were both badass, they were almost the same except he was a player. The school player.

Mitch Bruce.

Weird name huh?

Mitch Bruce, the school player.

He is handsome, very handsome. He has dark blonde hair with green eyes, perfect lips and jaw line. He has six park with well structured craved muscles. Girls flock around him like flies but he will just use them and dump them like trash. Boys wish to be like him, well except for me. I like being a nerd and besides I don't even stand a chance.

He is the football captain which made his popularity bloom more. I find his egotistic aura annoying.

"f**k off", I heard Megan said, her tone indicated that she was annoyed.

"Megan you know you are a .........." Mitch said describing Megan with s****l words that will make someone's head explode.

You don't expect me to tell you what he said. I will do no such thing. I am too innocent.

What? Dirty minded children.

Megan closed her locker and turn to face him. Then she did the unexpected.

She hit him where the sun never shines.

Ouch!, I could feel his pain as he fell down and groaned in pain.

"This is just a pre lesson, next time you won't be able to give your mother grandchildren. I don't want to see your filthy f*****g self close to me. Let that sink into your brainless skull". Megan said as she spat on him and walked passed him. Heading to biology class.

I would have laughed but the situation didn't call for it. Mitch was still lying on the floor groaning in pain and cussing profanities against Megan.

"Ain't you coming? We are already late."Megan said as she turned a corner.

She knows I was there evesdropping. What if she purnish me . I quickly close my locker and ran to catch up with her.

Before I turned the corner Megan took, I looked back at Mitch. He had managed to stand up but still clutch his junior.

"You will pay". Mitch said.

.........................my nerd?....................?

I think this calls for a dramatic effect.

Dun dun dun dun.........
