11. Megan in my bed

Jason's POV

The bright light piercing my eyes wasn't making me get any sleep. I had to open my eyes.

I regret doing that, as my head was hit with a pounding head ache. It was as if 5 hefty men were you my head to play drum.

Every thing from last night came flooding back. I remembered everything down to the last detail.

No no no s**t.

I wanted to spring to my feet but I felt someone's hand wrapped around my torso. I hope it's not who I think it is.

I turned and there laid Megan sleeping so peacefully. Some strands of hair fell at her face. I wanted to touch it so badly.

What is wrong with me?

I shaked my head to clear my thoughts, I gently tried to peel her hands from me without waking her.

But well luck was not on my side.

She stirred and her eyes fluttered open.

I quickly move her hand, ignoring the tingles that was coarsing through me. I stood up immediately and went my wardrobe pretending to find something just to avoiding meeting her eyes.

My head was still pounding hard.

I kinda kissed her. Not really kiss her..... But a brushing..... You want I mean. I knew that party won't go well.

After what seems like minutes I finally had the urge to turn around. Luckily she wasn't there. Probably went to the bathroom or something.

I used that opportunity to get my clothes from my wardrobe. Some deep blue shorts and a grey t-shirt.

I immediately sprinted to the bathroom that was connected to my room.

Doing a quick bath,brushed my teeth and putting on my clothes I stepped out. She wasn't there. I was brushing my hair when the door clicked as she entered.

"Morning" she said sitting on the reading chair at the top right corner of the room.

"Morning" I said more like mumbled. I was surprised she woke up after sleeping in some guy's house in the guy's room with the guy to be more specific and she was acting so casual.

"You should take some medicine for your headache. I pretty sure you have a hangover. Do you still want to go to school?" She asked.

Oh no I totally forgot about school. For the record. I paced to the reading table taking a look at the digital clock.

7:40am. 20 minutes to head to school.

Being the nerd i am, missing school is like losing a kidney. Dan won't be coming to give me a ride, he goes really early for football practice, there is an event coming in a few days.

"Thanks and yeah I will" I said now putting on my grey Nike shoes.

"Okay then. I can't head home to change, so ......."she trailed off.

"You can pick from Tess's. Her room is after mine. She must still be sleeping, she's a deep sleeper probably wake up 10 or 12.

I will walk to school, you can come after you are done." I said making for the door. This is the first time I have seen Megan speechless, she is always bold and intimidating.

"Nonsense. Wait for me we are going together. I will finish up in 5 mins" she said dashing out before I could protest.

Well then.

I made my way to the kitchen passing the living room seeing Tess on the couch drools coming out of mouth.

I warmed the leftover pizza and brought out coke from the fridge.

After a few minutes, Megan stepped into the kitchen. She wore a black with white dots pencil skirt that reached a little above her knee and a white hoodie and some black boots. Her hair was brushed and fell at her shoulders. She was a queen of black and White.

She is your black and white queen.

What? Where did that even come from?

"Ahem" she cleared her throat making my cheeks heat up with embarrassment.

This is supposed to be the other way around. I object author.

I pushed the food towards her as I couldn't say a word. I see her lips twitch into a smile.

"Do you remember anything from last night" she asked still eating.

Yes

"No" I lied.

It's clear you all want my death quickly and my tombstone will be written:

Jason watts died of embarrassment.

Yeah nice try.

Something flash in her eyes. Disappointment?. But it was gone as quickly as it came before warp my mind around it.

"Let's go, time is running out" she said as she stood up and headed for the door.

"Right" I said as I chug down the pills for headache with a gulp of water.

I walked outside and got into the car and off we go.

We fell into a comfortable silence as reminder by The weeknd rang out from the car stereo.

We made it to school 2 minutes early. The gossiping of students as we got out of the car was getting usual. We got to our lockers to get out our things.

I was having physics first. Biology is the class after lunch break. I was caught off guard by someone as he slammed my locker.

Elliot Scott.

He was one of jocks who bully me. I often do his assignments to please him. Or else I will be bullied more.

"The assignment?" He asked with bored tone.

I was about to hand it to him when another hand took it from me.

"Yeah no you don't" Megan said as she shredded the assignment in pieces.

"You should do your assignment yourself instead of bullying someone to do it for you. Now f**k off before I do for you" she continued in a low and intimidating tone.

Elliot open his mouth to say something but shut again, he huffed and mumbled curses under his breath before walking off.

Now that I think about it, Megan may be a bad girl but I have never seen or heard her bully someone.

"You shouldn't let people take advantage of you because you are a nerd. There is something called confidence and boldness use it. Be afraid of no one, others will fear you. Place them at your feet instead of being placed" she preaches in a firm voice as she tries to catch my gaze.

I as a embarrassing person fixed my gaze in anything but her.

I could only nod my head.

My life sucks.

"See you later at lunch, I've English" she said as walked away.

I might as well take her advice and put on some confidence.
