I had initially thought that Silvia would order us to flee this place now that we were discovered, and most of the girls had doubts now following Lucia's words, and I couldn’t even blame them. Lucia was at it again, her voice loud and raw, cutting through the group like a knife. “We need to get out of here, Silvia! They know where we are!” she shouted, her hands clenched into tight fists, her eyes burning with frustration. She paced back and forth, kicking at the dirt, her anger practically vibrating. But Silvia didn’t budge. She stood there staring Lucia down like she was daring her to keep pushing. I didn’t know what was going on in Silvia’s head, but I had a feeling she thought running wouldn’t solve anything. They’d hunt us down no matter where we went. Finding another place to settle
