Eden Day Five Angie made it out just in time. The door had been closed only a second when she heard men filing into the room and taking seats at their desks. She leaned against the door frame, breathing fast. That had been close. Too close. And she still had to find her way back. One bite was left of the candy bar. As she put the morsel in her mouth, she realized she’d need to find a place to discard the wrapper. Hopefully, the owner of the candy bar would never notice, but with her luck, they’d probably search every cell for someone with chocolate breath.
