Day Seven
Tonight was the night. The pope and president-elect would make a historic joint address from a balcony above St. Peter’s Square. Sam also hoped that Ace would be able to confirm the location that Rey had discovered and they could rescue Angie and Harper.
As Stryker and Rey took a food break, Sam stared out the window, twin emotions of excitement and fear running through her veins.
They were still in Rome. Below their hotel room balcony was Piazza Navona, a two-thousand-year-old baroque square filled with fountains and a tall obelisk.
