Chapter Forty-Six
Tan was glad to be back to his old school Preston high, among his old friends and the surroundings. His friends were all the same as they had been three years ago all except Hamid. He seemed fine when he just arrived but had changed suddenly from the perky Hamid to a sad morose one. Everyone was concerned about him but when asked what was wrong would say nothing is wrong. He had met with his aunt, the proprietress and his meeting with her was short and straightforward. He was told to be of good behaviour and so on. She was so like his mother, always a control freak sometimes he wonders if Tabitha his mother’s twin was ever related to them because of their different attitudes but his aunt Tabitha and his mother were twins so there was no doubt.
