It was Thursday. Which meant time to go to work, holiday has ended. Hayley pulled the golden café’s brown shirt with its stiff white collar over her under singlet. She pulled her braids up into a ponytail and held it with a rubber band. She checked her reflection in the mirror. She looked okay. The shadows had almost disappeared from under her eye. She touched her collar bone, it still jutted out. She was still skinny. The remaining days she had spent at home had been interesting.
