Chapter 23
Joe
Joe drummed his fingers on his lap as he sat outside of the plant where Chelsie worked. They had called off their undercover assignment with Gary’s bosses’ boss earlier so Joe no longer had access to the plant. Gary was usually done for the day around five so Joe didn’t have much longer left waiting there. He was more interested in what Gary did after he left the plant. Joe could only hope Gary would go somewhere substantial to the case. Joe also didn’t want to be around when Chelsie showed up for work.
It would go without being said that she shouldn’t draw any attention to Joe while he was tailing Gary, but he hadn’t actually told her that. He also wasn’t sure he could stay away if he saw her. Knowing she had chosen to go back to her house instead of staying at his home
