Chelsie
“Stephanie, are you okay?” Chelsie whispered as she cleared the fog from her mind.
At Stephanie’s silence, Chelsie took the opportunity to take inventory of her own injuries. As hard as she had struggled, it had been futile. The men were much stronger. A couple of well executed hits and her and Stephanie had both gone down for the count.
Stephanie’s body was still lying lifeless next to her, which was making her nervous. Chelsie laid her hand on Stephanie’s back and the steady rise and fall of Stephanie’s breathing relieved Chelsie a little bit.
