The next morning, Joe and Chelsie made their way over to the main house for breakfast. Stephanie had called them early to invite them. She was making her famous blueberry breakfast cake. Joe was anxious to hear how everything had gone at the precinct the night before. He was thankful to have had the time with his mate, but he felt anxious to be with his clanmates.
“Good morning, guys!” Stephanie chirped as they made their way into the living room.
“Whatever that is, it smells amazing,” Chelsie quipped.
“Just wait until you taste it. Every time she makes it we all eat like a pack of starved men,” Terrell said as he emerged from the hallway and flopped his giant body down on the couch.
“Can’t wait.”
