Chelsie
“These shifter men are a nightmare.”
Chelsie pulled her gaze from the direction Joe had disappeared in and finally acknowledged the woman standing in front of her.
“Hi, I’m Stephanie, Jake’s mate,” she said, extending her hand out to Chelsie.
“Sorry, I’m Chelsie.”
“They love to do that,” Stephanie said, turning and heading back to the house.
“Do what?”
“Shift and stand around naked trying to embarrass you. Jake did it to me all the time when we first met. It’s quite a sight,” she said with a giggle.
“So you and Jake are mates?” Chelsie asked, suddenly quite curious about the whole thing.
“Yup.”
“What’s that like?”
“It’s amazing,” Stephanie said, her voice taking on a dreamy tone.
