Chapter 6: J.T. Makes a Move The airplane banked sharply, and J.T.’s fist tightened on the armrest. He had the feeling that his companion had not been fooled by his air of nonchalance during the two flights they’d made. Armand hadn’t come right out and asked if he’d ever flown before, but he’d sure spent a lot of time explaining things like where to put your bag and what to order for your meal. That was an experience J.T. wasn’t eager to repeat: he’d always heard how bad airline food was, and now he knew they weren’t exaggerating.
