Mason went back inside ever so carefully to try and not wake up his lover but the man was already awake and the lights were turned on in the room.
“You haven’t slept?” Edward asked as he approached his lover coming from the terrace. He held onto the man’s hand which were unusually cold, even for him.
“I was a bit too excited to be here.” Mason said with a smile on his face, if anyone were to see him they’d never know he was lying through his teeth. “I couldn’t get a wink of sleep thinking of how much fun we’d have today.” He continued wearing the same gentle smile and looking directly at his lover’s eyes. Of course he wasn’t about to confess he stood up all night thinking about pointless things. He didn’t want to ruin the trip that his lover so carefully
