“He doesn’t want it… he said it would be better in your hands than in his.” Trevor said with a gentle smile on his face. “You won’t be able to do anything with the store for the next four years because I’ve rented it out but… after you graduate University it will be yours.”
“But… what am I going to do with the family store? It’s in G town and I don’t even visit that often… It’s better if you leave it for Kris.” Mason insisted that there was no need for him to own the store, he’d be happier knowing his elder brother had something to fall on.
“Just take what people give to you…” Trevor said in a tired voice, it was obvious he wasn’t planning on arguing with his son over the matter.
“Alright…” Being left with little to no choice Mason agreed with his fat
