Chapter 46THE HIGH SCHOOL'S graduation was somber for Fritz. He felt apart from the crowd. George had awarded him a special award in addition to Teacher of the Year. But none of that mattered. He was alone. Ashley wasn't sitting next to him. Linda and TJ had gone to Ohio, and he didn't know when they'd be back. Mary had moved to a room at the airport, and now shared Fritz's protection with a revolving group of agents. Jim had told him he was leaving at the end of June to begin his agent-training program.
