The move

Alyssa POV, 

It was dark when we got the school around 7pm just like dad said, I refused to speak a word to him the whole journey there and kept my headphones in. we cam to a stop outside a big building the main building we pulled up inside of had an arched doorway gothic like style you get in a church grey stone bricks and brown huge doors. As we were unloading bags groups of students passed by some stopped and stared some stopped and shouted over To my brother Kyle since he's returning for his second year here at the academy. and many stared at me and my red air or maybe the golden eyes to which I glared at them and rolled my eyes, great already ill the talk of the school 

"Alyssa honey I know your angry but this is the best place for your right now trust me also the head teacher should be somewhere ah speak of the devil" my father chuckled looking to the doorway and the steps of the school, stood a tall man muscular and broad shoulders chiselled face stern look and piercing blue eyes, which widened when they landed on me then he looked across to my father as he made his way over to us. 

"Alpha Phillip nice to see you again , and Kyle" he nodded to Kyle who nodded back. 

"ready for a good year this year Kyle" he said in a smooth firm voice

"yes sir Kyle saluted him being cocky then took off to his dorm with his bags. 

"later dad" he said. 

"Phillip I believe this is little red then , or should I say Alyssa" Mr bridges said I looked up at him and nodded. 

"yes sir" . I looked at my father curious as to how he knew my nickname that only people from the pack give me. 

"your father and I used to be good friends I go to many pack meetings with your father over the years red that's how I know who you are and that your one for trouble I hope thats not the case here pup" he said in a firm tone eyes glowing at me his wolf asserting authority in charge here., to which of course I rolled my eyes; only to have his widen as how I dint submit. you see even if we don't have our wolfs before sixteen our souls usually submit to an alpha authority however for some strange reason. that has never affected me again another reason my father said he refused to train me for alpha position, because I won't submit  to authority when I need to and I don't know why. but that's also one reason dad said the council agreed to let me in this academy, 

We grabbed my bags, me and my dad and Mr bridges all walked through the main entrances he pointed out some of the class rooms and training facilities and cafeteria on the way  past eh classrooms and assembly hall and other facilities the school had including the hospital wing, then to the dorm rooms, as we walked by the door rooms Mr  bridges explained each year group has their own floor and common room with tv facilities and computers and things such as snack machines and anything else for entertainment. He also explained that all students have their own individual rooms nobody shares unless they're destined mates in the older years from 16 and up, he showed us to my dorm room number 304. it was at the very end of the ground floor corridor right at the bottom, which was convenient, large windows through the whole room looking out into the far end of the school grounds and the near forests. Hey least it was a good view I thought. 

" This will be your room as your a first year its the biggest room in the school normally off limits you have your own living space in here and little library just behind the far door on the right and shower and toilet facilities and closet on the far side over there" Mr bridges pointed to the far left side of the room that had about four doors. to which I rolled my eyes but was thankful for the big space. I was curious as to why it was normally off limits but that was a question for another day. 

"Mr bridges if you don't mind I would like a word with my daughter before I Depart back home and say goodbye to my son also" he said  to Mr bridges who simply nodded before glancing over and leaving out of my dorm room. 

"Dad why is this room normally off limits? and why do I have one of the biggest rooms , Kyle said all  the dorm rooms were tiny at the school?" I questioned out of curiosity. 

"Those questions my darling are for you to find out during your time here you will learn things me and your mother didn't teach you for your own good remember that , but if and when you do find out why please all I ask is that you don't hate me and your mother and you call us once you find out but tell nobody except those you can trust" he said leaving me puzzled I'm about to ask him more but he spoke again 

"here's your dorm room key try not to loose it and please try to behave I don't want you getting expelled from here because you won't be coming home you'll be in detention until you learn respect when an Alpha talks to you at least and boundaries" he said sighing and embracing me into a big hug , his huge frame cuddling my small frame as I embraced the hug and looked up at his greyish brown beard growing and his dark eyes tired , his little wrinkles on his cheeks and forehead , I truly noticed how old age was getting to my father and I could tell he was tired. 

" Dad I love you and mom and I could never hate you both I love you" I said he let go of our hug and turned to walk out the door. 

" Give us a call in a few days kiddo after your settled in any time but try to be good please remember your actions reflect on your mother and I and the pack" he said as he left the door his black shoes clicking on the floor as he left closing my dorm room door leaving me alone with a great view but my own thoughts, so I decided to lock my door for the night and unpack my bags and get settled in. Tomorrow was going to be a busy day I sighed. 

Mr bridges Pov

"Does she truly not know that you and your wife adopted her?" asked Phillip about his daughter Alyssa well the queens daughter that is. 

"No Jason she doesn't and I want it kept that way she needs to find out in her own way as subtle as possible, me and the council know and its kept secret as u know and only people who Alice and Paul trusted with the news when they found out" Phillip told me looking tired. 

"She's her mothers daughter, she's got the magic of the hybrid in her and her eyes and hair well she's Alice's double I'd rather her be safe away here from prying eyes, whoever infiltrated the place that night may figure out she's Alice's  daughter eve though they kept her a secret they may relish and hunt her for her power she must be protected and this is the safest place, now we didn't teach her about the royals for safety but I am aware it is apart of your curriculum please do it with discretion, and ensure my daughter is well looked after" he asked. 

" Always Phillip you forget I was their the day Alice gave birth her father was my cousin after all so I am also assuming she's not shown any signs of power apart from not submitting to an alpha authority?" I asked as we headed to the front of my academy. 

"Not as far as me or her mother are aware she may come into her wolf soon and shift as Alice did at her age just keep and eye out and give us any updates, once it becomes known in the school who she is they must be sworn to secrecy and protect her" he told me to which I simply nodded. 

"Ill protect her  don't worry Phillip you have my word and the faculty and the help of the council and our witch friend also to protect if needed" I stated and with that he shook my hand and got into his black BMW and drove off back to his pack lake-falls. 

(well we've got our work cut out for us, that pup has power and a lot of it.) my wolf Eric chirped 

(No kidding that pup is a royal one, just like us and a stubborn pup at that)  I sighed holding the bridge of my nose and walking back into the school , sounding the late night curfew alarm, and locking the main entrance doors as it was now 9pm.
