Immediately I got home,I ran to my mom's part of the house to know what exactly happened . I checked every part of the house but I couldn't locate her,I was growing tired of waiting when I heard soft sobs coming from the back of a tree,I went there to check out what was happening there, only to find that it was my mom, crying with her head in between her legs and her hand pulling her hair,I just stood there looking at her without knowing when tears started coming out of my eyes,I wanted to leave and come back later,when my leg matched a dry leave that had fallen, which made a little bit of noise , that made her immediately look up .
"Angel, you see, you see what they are doing to you" she said in between sobs
"Mom, what's wrong "I asked confused,I thought it was just a minor thing but I never expected my mom to cry
"My God will judge your father,my God will punish him and his wife,they will never know peace, happiness will never be heard about in his house".she continued crying
" Mom, can you at least tell me what's going on,I mean am just confused here " I asked her but before she would even say a word, there was a knock on our gate.
" I'm coming "I replied heading towards the gate
"Angel stop "my mom said with urgency in her voice
"Okay" I said and left the gate for her to open, she opened the door and there were two police members outside.
"Which one of you is Miss angel please" they asked
"It's me" I answered
"Miss you are under arrest for murder"the officer said looking at my in the eyes
"Excuse you, what's going on here" I asked confused
*Angel,go with them,I will explain it later, for now just cooperate with them" my mom said
"Real,I mean right,mum you want me to cooperate and go to jail without doing anything" I asked my mom with tears in my eyes,I just couldn't believe it, like am going to jail
"Miss please cooperate with us" the police officer said after getting tired of my tears I guess
And that was how I was taken to the prison without even knowing what was going wrong.
