Today seemed awfully cheery. Maybe it was the fact that everyone had gotten up early to prepare for Aiden’s party or perhaps Liz and Jasmine’s laughter had woken me up at the end of a great dream. Either way, I was in a great mood.
I took my time putting my hair up into a messy pony tail and grabbing a long sleeve shirt and faded skinny jeans. We still had a few hours before Aiden’s party, and I saw no use in changing into anything overly dressy for now.
When I finished I made my way to the bedroom door. I opened it ready to start my day, but I ran into Leo. He must have been about to knock on my door because I ran right into his hard chest. I let out a huff as I hit him. He grabbed my shoulders to steady me.
“Oh crap, sorry.” He said with a voice filled with sorrow. I smiled up at him.
