The dinner was at a restaurant near the old port that Adrian Cor had chosen, which told her something about him. Not the obvious choice, not the most visible place in the city, but a small room above a fish market that smelled of the sea and had four tables and a proprietor who knew Adrian by name and brought wine without being asked. A man who chose rooms like this was a man who valued the conversation over the setting.
