One week later
Tate was out in the barn brushing the mane of his favourite horse, Chester who he totally ignored because of the grief of losing Viola and his baby all in one day. He had not spoken to Viola for over two weeks and he really missed her.
These days he worked on his ranch almost robotically, just taking each day as it came not paying attention to much. He knew he needed to get away from this scenery and away from the barn but he did not feel like going. Leaving his home town was what got in into this in the first place; meeting Viola and having a baby they did not plan but fell in love with it anyway.
