CALIFORNIA: SAN FRANCISCO,HOWELL HIGH SCHOOL.
AUSTIN’S POV
As I settled into my chair, I glanced at the calendar. "Universities midterm break should come to an end soon enough," I thought. "Then I can leave this place, filled with creepy students, behind." My gaze drifted to the stack of papers on my desk, but my mind remained fixed on that enigmatic student.
The sudden notification from my phone jolted me back to reality. I checked the time and realized I had to rush to teach the senior science class - in English, no less. 'Can this day get any better?' I muttered under my breath, standing up from my seat and grasping the textbook I needed."
EMORY’S POV
"Upon arriving at the class, I grabbed my handbag and headed to the cafeteria. When I returned, the girls had already finished and Oscar had departed. We all walked to our next class together, engrossed in lively chatter about trivial matters. I chose not to share my earlier encounter with the teacher, knowing my friends would teasingly make a fuss about it." "As the school day drew to a close, a collective rush to depart filled the air. In the garage, Rachael turned to me with a mischievous grin. 'Tonight's clubbing plans still a go, baby doll?' 'Absolutely,' I confirmed.
Riana, already seated in her car, had been eager to leave since complaining of stomach cramps earlier. With a hasty goodbye, we parted ways, each driving off into our own evening."
THE ANDERSON’S COMPOUND.
I was pacing around my room, thinking about my day and my new teacher, Austin Diamond. "Sounds nice," I said, smiling at how his name sounded on my lips. How would his lips taste like, I wondered.
A knock on my door jolted me out of my thoughts. "Come in," I said.
"Ooh, Mum, are you back from work?" I asked.
"Yes, dear," she replied, sitting on my bed while I still stood.
"How was your day?" she asked.
"Good," I muttered.
"Are you okay?" she asked.
"Yes, I'm fine," I replied.
I looked at my mum and couldn't help but smile at her beauty and sparkling skin, despite the scars she got from that monster – my father. His cruelty had long covered her shining brown eyes. I could say I got my beauty and sparkling brown eyes from her.
"Hey, are you still having nightmares?" she asked.
"Yeah," I replied.
"Try to overcome it, baby. He's never coming back to hurt us again," she said.
"He wouldn't dare," I replied.
"Don't talk about your father in that manner," she cautioned.
"I will choose to speak about him however I want," I retorted. "I pray he rots in hell whenever death comes knocking."
"Stop it, baby," Mum spoke up, noticing the change in her mood.
She held my hand and made me sit on the bed. "Baby, all men are not the same," she said, looking into my eyes.
"They are all the same," I replied, "and I'm never going to commit to any of them. I just want to live my life and die a fulfilled single woman."
"Shut up!" she cautioned. "You are going to get married whether you like it or not."
I rolled my eyes. "Mum, please go."
She stood up, shook her head, and left, slamming the door behind her.
"Men are f*****g bastards," I cursed.
I checked the time and realized it was almost time for the party. I called the girls on a voice call via w******p. Immediately, it rang, and the girls picked up. They were always online.
"b***h, hope we're not wearing white for clubbing because I'm on my period," Linda's voice sounded from the phone.
"Red is okay," I said.
"Duh, always your favorite color," Rachel responded.
"Okay, girls, remember we're all coming to Rachel's house to study, just in case we're asked. Since Rachel's parents are traveling for a business trip and all of hers are already married."
I kissed them over the phone and hung up.
I quickly dashed into the bathroom and took a bath. Then, I went to the wardrobe and picked a red bum short and white hanging top, styled my hair, and applied light lip gloss since I was already a natural beauty.
I left my room, peeked into Mum's room – she was already sleeping, same as my sister. On getting to the garage, I walked towards the car I used early today, inserted the key into the keyhole, and ignited the engine, zooming off to Sluty Night Club.
CALIFORNIA: SAN FRANCISCO, SLUTY CLUB.
On getting there and parking, the girls were already waiting for me.
"b***h, let's go party hard!" Riana said.
We walked in, and the security asked for our IDs. Of course, we showed him our fake IDs, and he let us in.
Immediately we entered, we were welcomed by the loud sound of music.
"This night is going to be fun!!" I screamed.
"Yes, of course!!" Rachael screamed.
We headed to the bar stand, and Rachel ordered tequila, same as Riana.
"b***h, I don't know why you don't drink despite being the crazy one," Riana said.
"I'll pass," I said.
We headed over to the dance floor, and the guys cleared the road for us. We swayed our bodies to the sound of music. I was twerking like crazy when a guy from nowhere grabbed my ass.
"f**k, soft ass you got," he whispered.
"You think so?" I turned, pretending to kiss him, and kicked him in the groin.
"Bastard!" I cursed.
"f**k you, b***h!" he replied.
I continued swaying my body.
Soon enough, the girls were dead drunk, and, of course, I had to take care of them again.
"Why do you girls drink when you can't control your liquor intake?" I muttered, struggling to take them into their cars. They were drunk but not drunk enough not to drive home.
"Be careful, girls," I told them, helping them put on their seatbelts.
Riana nodded her head drunkenly, and Rachael stuttered, "See you tomorrow, baby doll."
"Yeah," I replied, and they drove off. I got into my car and drove off. ...On getting to my room, I slumped on my bed, dreading sleep due to the dreams I always have.
HOWELL HIGH SCHOOL.
I walked into the class and Riana waved her hands, signaling me to come sit. My head hurt badly. Rachael complained, "Why won’t it, you drank to stupor I replied smiling stupidly”.
I replied, scoffing, "I understand why you girls didn't bother to call this morning." I mocked them due to their last night's drunkenness.
The class was noisy. Brianne was not in class, I noticed. "Where did that b***h go to?" I said inwardly.
Soon enough, the mathematics teacher came in, and we left whatever we were doing and concentrated. Class ended, and I walked out on the girls, heading straight to Mr. Austin's office.
I knocked on his door and heard his soothing voice saying, "Come in." I walked in.
"Morning," I said.
He raised his head from his phone. "Oh, the rude student," his calm voice came.
"How are you?" he asked.
"Fine," I replied. "I came to apologize for what happened yesterday."
"Oh, if you say so," he smirked.
"Yeah," I said, staring at his dark black eyes. "I hope we get along, Mr. Austin," I said while staring into his eyes.
"Of course, I'm your teacher," he said.
"Hot teacher," I responded slowly, with a mischievous smile playing on my lips.
"Bye, Austin," I said.
He looked at me shocked because I had just addressed him informally.
I walked out from his office, grinning from ear to ear. I could hear him muttering, "What the f**k!!"
"He's cute," I said, as his reaction played on my head. "I want him..."
