Olivia’s POV
I stared at the phone.
The message still hadn’t sent.
Help me. I’m alive. I don’t know where I am.
Outbox.
No signal.
My fingers hovered over the keypad. I scrolled back to the saved contact.
L.P.
And underneath, in tiny faded letters from a half-set-up profile, the name:
Leo Parker.
Leo.
I stared at the screen.
No way.
The arrogant customer?
The same man who insulted me at the pub? The same one who kept showing up, acting like he cared?
Was he... Leo Parker?
I shook my head. No. That couldn’t be right. That Leo Parker was a billionaire. A man from headlines. Suits. Yachts.
Not... him.
But the phone.
The timing.
The way he had started hovering around after I fainted.
The way he looked at me like he was hiding something.
My stomach churned.
What if it was true?
What if he had known more all along?
And more importantly... what if he was the one I’d slept with that night?
I gripped my stomach, heart hammering.
Everything started to blur.
My hands were shaking now.
No. It couldn’t be. That would mean—
That would mean this baby...
I closed my eyes. Breathed slowly.
This wasn’t the time to panic. I had to stay calm.
But I couldn’t stop the feeling rising in my chest.
I had a name now. And if this phone found its signal… I had a way out.
And a truth I needed answers for.

Leo’s POV
I stared at her photo again.
It was the only thing keeping me grounded.
My contact was tracking the location slowly. Too slowly.
Then my phone buzzed.
“We have a radius. Five blocks. Somewhere near the river warehouses.”
I stood. "Send me everything you have. I’m going there myself."
He didn’t argue.
I knew I shouldn’t get emotionally involved. But I was already in too deep.
I didn’t know what I would find.
But I was praying I wasn’t too late.

Unknown POV
She’s putting things together.
Too fast.
But that’s fine.
The truth always comes with pain.
And she hasn’t even tasted the worst of it yet.
