'Raj, I need to see you immediately!' Dhivya called him as soon as she finished her meeting with the board committee. 'Send me the details!' Raj said knowing her tone, she was in trouble! Dhivya's meeting didn't go well as she expected it to be, after dissolving her previous company the investors had issued a notice to withdraw the funds even before she could brief out her next business idea to them. 'Is there a way out?' Dhivya barged into Raj's office without any notice. Raj had his eyes fixed on his laptop. 'This is not new to us!' Raj sighed. 'I don't know why this happens to me every time, perhaps I should come with a more effective liquidation process from here on!' Dhivya said occupying a chair. 'When will you stop doing this?' Raj asked out of concern. 'Please help me out!' Dhivya pleaded. 'Till when?' Raj raised his voice. Dhivya didn't speak, she was fidgeting her fingers. 'What is the issue?' Raj groaned losing his patience. 'My previous business....' 'Details!' Raj groaned again. 'Oh! Yeah! The handloom business was epic, I used to buy the handloom products directly from the producers, we had a special team to verify the products from various villages and then they were marketed by us for the best prices. Though I was little skeptical about the profits, it turned out very well than what I expected it to be! The business went on booming, we had the best ever profits in the field,' Dhivya said. 'Then why give up?' Raj asked knowing her very well. 'See don't think I am insane, I did a background check for one year before taking up this idea. The price paid to the handloom workers was not even basic considering the end price of the products which is few grands. Company branding took most of the money so to overcome that I started this business, to benefit the handloom community and to get the income and profits they actually deserve I mediated a brand!' Dhivya said with a smile of satisfaction, this time her eyes had the spark which was not seen in the morning. 'So you dissolved the company and gave the entire marketing rights to the Union to benefit them?' Raj speculated. 'Yeah!' Dhivya nodded tapping her hands on the table. 'Did you loose any money?' Raj asked in doubt. 'Hell No! I told you the business had the best ever profits! I made almost double the amount of investment in this project,' she beamed in delight. 'Argh! It's hard to understand you even after years!' Raj sighed leaning back on his chair. 'Please help me out! All my money is yet to be drawn after dissolving the handloom company, it will take time but my investors are backing out all of a sudden!' Dhivya stated her situation. 'Reason?' Raj asked going through the documents she had sent. 'I hate this society!' groaned Dhivya in sadness,'Because I am a girl who has no one's support, they are asking me for a back up either from my father or my brother,' Dhivya uttered in pure angst. 'And all your money is stuck with the bank,' Raj stated, Dhivya nodded at him sadly. 'Fine! Don't make that face, I will fall for that every single time. Let me figure out a way!' Raj rolled his eyes looking at her innocent face which she made all of a sudden. 'I really owe you this time!' Dhivya beamed in happiness, her friend was a pro in solving such cases. And when he says he will figure a way out, he does it no matter what! He was a determined person when it came to his work and his words. Dhivya decided to stay for lunch at his office, Raj was the only friend she had in the city. 'Why don't you ask your family for help?' He asked. 'Not again!' Dhivya shrugged dropping her spoon in the middle of the lunch. 'Eat!' Raj said with a serious voice and she slowly picked up her food. 'I have an idea,' Raj spoke after a moment,'It will be a life time back up plan for you no matter how many ventures you stumble on,' He said looking at the changing expression on her face. 'Spill it!' Dhivya asked out of curiosity when he delayed his words. 'Get married dear!' Raj stated. Dhivya was mum for a while,'Not a bad idea but its actually a very sad idea! I have better things to do so please don't act like my family Raj!' Dhivya said with her void expression. After having her lunch, Dhivya left to the hospital when Raj assured her of a better solutions soon. Though visiting hospital had become a daily ritual, she never complained even to herself about it. She could be a responsible daughter once in a while considering her brother's busy schedule to save few taunts from her mother. By the time she reached the hospital the sun was going down the horizon. She walked into the elevator still lost in the thoughts about her company and her meeting with the investors. 'Being girl is no less than a sin!' Dhivya said looking at her reflection on the elevator doors. 'Who says!?' a sweet male voice spoke. Dhivya's heart leapt out at once, she turned around to find a lean guy with big black framed glasses. 'Oh! Did I scare you?' He asked out of concern, dhivya nodded in no and kept a straight face. She got little uncomfortable being in the elevator with that person. As soon as the elevator reached the second floor, she dashed out. She headed straight to the canteen to get some coffee for herself, to cure her headache. She took her time to calm herself down and to look composed in front of her dad who never fails to notice her unrest when it is about her company and business affairs. No matter how many facades she wore he would figure it out in a minute. 'Where are you?' Dhivya could feel her mom's wrath even from her phone. 'Second floor!' Dhivya replied and ended the call before her mom could loose her temper. 'Hope Rahul is here,' she prayed and opened the door of the room to find it filled with people. There was laughter everywhere, her dad was having a fun talk with an elderly person. 'Oh! Dhivya, here she is!' Vasudev spoke with pure delight pointing at her. She was introduced to the couple, she greeted them, her eyes darted towards the person whom she met a while ago in the elevator. He smiled at her and introduced himself by forwarding his hand, 'Karthik!' She took his hand and smiled at him. 'We have met before!' Karthik initiated a conversation. 'Yeah!' She gave a one word answer. 'I meant, we were in the same university, I have seen you several times on campus and I am your junior,' Karthik said. Before the conversation can start, Rahul entered the hospital room. He was introduced to the couple, he seemed quite tensed while greeting the couple, he was looking at Dhivya every now and then. Dhivya who was having a small talk with Karthik was disturbed by a constant gaze of Mrs. Vasudev, every now and then she smiled at her which she returned without second thoughts. 'Dhivya, Come with me,' Rahul whispered to her. She nodded and excused herself out, Rahul immediately followed her. 'What happened?' Dhivya asked when he took the chair in front of her in the hospital canteen. He was fidgeting his legs, she could see through his face. 'I need your help!' Rahul blurted. 'What is it?' Dhivya spoke after a brief pause, all possible negative thoughts ran through her mind. 'I need some money, only you can help me out as I can't ask dad for Money when he is hospitalized,' Rahul said. 'How much?' Dhivya asked knowing his situation, Raj had mentioned about it that morning. 'I am sorry,' Rahul said quoting the amount he need to get out of the crisis. 'Give me some time Rahul,' Dhivya said picking her phone. 'Sure!' Rahul said leaning back on his chair, his phone was ringing continuously and he was dismissing all the calls. Dhivya quickly did few phone calls,'Its done, by tomorrow evening you will receive the money,' She said. 'Seriously?' Rahul was surprised to hear that, he didn't expect his sister to arrange such a huge sum in hours. Dhivya nodded at him,'Will that be okay for you? You closed down your company very recently right?!' Rahul asked. 'Yeah!I did and that is why I am able to arrange the money at the earliest. I didn't invest it yet,' Dhivya smiled at him. 'Don't worry! I will return it to you soon, I don't want to put halt for your next project so please give me some time!' Rahul said with a smile. 'Fine! Don't be sad anymore,' Dhivya returned his smile. 'How much interest are you charging me this time? I know you won't do it for free,' Rahul teased his sister who used to charge double the amount for the money she lent him every time during his college days. 'Just double the principle amount, I don't want interest,' Dhivya said with a firm tone. 'Hey! Stop robbing me,' Rahul was cautioned, Dhivya laughed looked at his face. 'Fine! No interest for you this time but make sure to buy me the Music gadgets which you promised,' Dhivya said. 'Well! That's a done deal,' Rahul said giving a small hug to his sister. 'Oh yeah! Don't you dare tell this to mom,' Dhivya said and Rahul zipped his mouth.
