I was almost out of the house when a hand suddenly closed around my elbow.
“Come with me.”
The command was sharp enough to make me freeze.
I turned and found Caleb staring down at me.
Before I could ask where we were going, he was already steering me down the hallway.
My stomach tightened.
Something about the look in his eyes made every instinct inside me scream that I didn’t want to follow him.
But I knew better than to resist.
He opened a nearby room and shoved me inside before closing the door behind us.
