Alpha Kayden's platter was now full of meat, and the carcass I had been stripping was now just bones laying on the bench I had been working on. Setting my knife down on the bench, I picked up the tray and made my way towards the door where Zelda was waiting for me.
As soon as I was standing beside her, Zelda said, "I'm sorry you didn't have time to go and get changed."
I gave her a smile and said, "Neither did you. Don't worry about it. I'm not."
Zelda returned my smile and said, "That Roxy, she's had a good beating headed her way for a while. I can tell you one thing though. I was glad I got to see her get put in her place."
