Lucas is dialling his boss's number incessantly.

"Why doesn't the boss pick up the phone when I call? Is he already on his way to the inspection?" Lucas pondered.

"What happened, baby? Have you received a phone call from your boss? Maria, his girlfriend, enquired.

"No, I'm just worried about my boss!! "I believe he will be in danger on his own."

"Then you should hurry and go save him," Maria said, nervously.

"Thank you very much, Maria. I'm so sorry for ruining our first date. I had no idea things would change so drastically." Lucas expressed his sadness.

"It's fine!! I don't mind, baby. Now, hurry and save your boss. And please call me when everything is resolved ".She expressed concern for her boyfriend's well being.

"Sure," Lucas said as he dashed out of the restaurant and got into his car.

He was driving at breakneck speed because he knew that if he was even seconds late, his boss would be in jeopardy.

Lucas was on a date with his girlfriend in a restaurant when he received a call from a friend who was with Alec. He informed him that Alec had set a trap in the medical department to kill Adrik. That's why Lucas was concerned.

He didn't have his boss's official phone number, so he dialled his personal number.

Adrik arrived at the medical department. It was a massive structure, but there was no one inside, much to his surprise. Normally, this building has a large number of workers and professionals working in it, but today it was completely silent. There were no automobiles, lorries, or trucks.

"What's going on here?" Adrik stroked his chin, perplexed.

"Let's see what's going on here!!" He murmured as he entered the building.

He saw no one, and there were no goods or machines. It was a completely empty, dark building.

"Where are the goods and machines, and what does an empty building mean?"

He was trying to figure out what was wrong when he heard someone's voice.

Now he realised it was a trap set for him by his stepbrother. He followed the voice coming from the corner of the building and saw two men discussing something about a bomb blast.

Adrik slowly took out his gun and shot them in the legs, rendering them unable to run.

He then approached them and questioned them, pointing his gun at their heads. "What's going on here?"

They sat motionless.

"Open your mouth and spit the truth, or I'll empty my gun's bullets into your heads," Adrik threatened. In that empty building, his voice echoed.

"Please have mercy on us, Mr. Alec Novikov is planning to murder you here. We have no idea where the bomb is hidden within this massive structure. We were just told to inform you about your death," Shivering in fear, two of them said.

"Oh!! I see you've been tasked with informing my brother about my death "Adrik burst out laughing as he stated this.

"Then call them right now and inform them of my death." He stated solemnly.

Both of them exchanged glances before one of them took out his phone with shivering hands and dialled Markov's number.

"Put it on speaker," Adrik said.

"The job is finished!" exclaimed the man.

"OK, you'll get your money," Markov said, rejecting the call.

Adrik burst out laughing after the phone call ended.

His laughter echoed throughout the entire building, making it extremely frightening.

Two of them were crawling backwards with their injured legs to get out of the building.

"Where are you going?" Adrik turned to face them, his green eyes gleaming in the darkness, and he appeared different from before.

He had long teeth and his nails had grown into long claws.

"Who are you? You are not... Someone please save us." They began yelling when they saw Adrik's frightening expression.

"Dummies, I'm not going to bite you. You two are merely garbage disposal. I just can't stop myself from transforming into a strange-looking creature after seeing blood." He stated that he was getting closer to them.

"BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG."

He then regained control of his appearance and walked away from the situation.

Then he heard a yell.
