Hazel’s POV
I opened my eyes to come across with a white ceiling. My head is aching badly while my throat is dry and begging for water. After adjusting my eyes to light, I realized that I am in hospital.
'what happened?’
I closed my eyes and tried to remember what happened and all the things came rushing to my mind.
“Emmett…” fear gripped my heart thinking about whether he is okay or not. I tried to sit up, ignoring the pain but stopped midway and took a breath of relief when my eyes fell on Emmett’s sleeping figure.
He is fine.
His head is resting on the bed, he is holding my one hand in his. In tension, I didn’t even realize he is holding my hand.
He will have pain in his neck and back after waking up because of sleeping in this position.
