With each step my heart is beating loudly, my fear is increasing and my hold on Emmett’s hand is tightening more.
I think he noticed my nervousness that is why he gave my hand light squeeze, looked at me and muttered, “don’t worry, I am with you”.
His words worked like a magic and I felt a little relaxed.
