Author’s POV
Emmett was still on his knees, glaring at the three man in front of him but he couldn’t see what other two are doing as they are standing behind him.
If he wants he can kill all five of them in a matter of minute but he is stopping himself because that is the only way to keep Hazel away from pain.
He is still feeling the pain in his heart which caused tears to form in the back of his eyes. But he didn’t let them fall.
This tears are not of pain or fear he is feeling but these are the tears of putting the one he loves more than himself into danger.
The fact that Hazel is suffering because of him is shattering his insides causing immense pain to his weeping heart.
He heard sound of footsteps coming closer to him, from behind. But he didn’t move even an inch.
