Lightning grenades are beautiful things. That’s not their official designation, of course, but it’s what everyone calls them because the experience of their detonation both looks and sounds like a terrestrial lightning strike—a brilliant strobe of intense, white light accompanied by a deafening c***k of thunder. The combination makes lightning grenades an effective means of disorienting or incapacitating a group of targets, and I’ve found them helpful in a variety of situations during my work.
