Episode Nine I’ve seen a lot of explosive munitions. I’ve used a lot of explosive munitions. In my line of work, it’s just expected. But the really nasty ones are the varied forms of improvised explosives. Considered illegal in every single corporate territory, improvised explosives include everything from standard munitions modified post production, like a trap I once ran into made from a full case of RMS incendiary rounds rigged to explode all at once, to elaborate, custom-made devices constructed from semilegal components with remote triggers and complex delivery platforms. I’ve learned a few things about dismantling improvised explosives, much of it from second- and thirdhand experience, and some of it gleaned from what we’ll call “on the job” training.
