TAKE Loggerheads –––––––– Kris pulled up outside the Loggerheads and pulled the handbrake on hard. ‘You ready for this?’ he said. Sian nodded and handed him the keys. She opened the door and placed her crutches down, pushing herself from the car. Crime scene tape still decorated the front door of the Loggerheads in a massive X. Kris pulled it off and unlocked the door. Sian pushed it open and swung through and down the hallway, remembering how you used to have the choice of left to the public bar, or right to the lounge, back when she’d first visited the place as a child. She took big gulps of air and tried to swallow down the nostalgia. The police had boarded up the cellar and told her not to go down there for now. That suited Sian. She didn’t imagine she’d ever go down there again,
