Chapter 12October 14th, Saturday One of the problems with getting up at four in the morning is that it makes the day incredibly long. That might be okay for someone that had gotten a full night's sleep but I'd gone to bed late and then hadn't gotten much sleep at all between Perky and Chuckles. I can't believe that I just wrote that. Perky and Chuckles? Neither name fits. I checked on Nana. She was sleeping. It must have been hard on her last night. I wondered about her claim that she couldn't see Chuckles. Since the Inquisition had burned out a part of her brain it sounded like she meant that you saw him with something other than your eyes.
