Chapter 14October 14th, Saturday Afternoon Logan drove a pickup so it wasn't any problem to put my bike in the back. His house was in a nice neighborhood with big landscaped yards and large houses. It wasn't far from home. His house looked pretty with three floors, a dark green roof, towers and lovely roses in the yard. "Nice place," I said as we got out. "I guess." "You don't like it?" I asked as we walked up to the porch. "It's fine but I've learned not to get attached to any one place long. Chances are we'll be moving before long." "What do you parents do?" "Dad is military."
