I looked up from the file as Dominick barged in, looking pissed as f**k.
Sighing, I gave a glance behind him in the hallway to see if anyone heard us or not. Nobody was there. It's four in the morning, everyone must be tired or asleep. Still, I can't take the risk of eavesdropping.
" Close the door."
He did, stepping inside the office. Identical green eyes gaping at me with impatience, " Where the hell were you?!"
He would have never dared to talk like this to Rome, Knox, or Zero...not even Romeo or other made men. But with me, he kept his guard down... probably because I never gave him any reason to be scared of me.
