Valerie and Marcus drove down the main street. She pointed out the coffee house, the drugstore, and the hardware store.
She took him past the elementary school and the high school. They passed the college and then came to the hospital.
“Would you like to go in and look around? We might bump into Dr. Steel.” asked Valerie.
“Maybe later, I just want to spend time with you,” replied Marcus.
Valerie hugged his arm and scooted as close to him as the seatbelt would allow.
“Why don’t we head on to your Bantam Rooster and see what they are serving for lunch?”
“Okay,” replied Valerie. “You go three blocks and take a right, go to the end of the road and you will be at the mall. The Bantam Rooster is inside the mall.”
