“Is it still far away?” Anna asked in a whining tone and made Max roll his eyes in annoyance.
He glanced sarcastically at her several times. “Don't complain if you don't want me to leave you.”
With a pout, Anna closed her mouth again, and she quickened her pace to catch up with Max. “Slow down, your legs are longer than mine.”
Max sighed and nodded his head.
He thought the waterfall was close because it looked quite close to the cliff, but it turned out to be quite far. Thanks to the clock in his hand, he knew that he had been walking for about 30 minutes but hadn't gotten there yet.
The downhill and rather steep road was draining their energy, especially since the rocks in that place made it difficult for them to stand on.
“There it is!” Anna shouted loudly and made Max look back to check.
He saw Anna pointing ahead with a cheerful and excited face. “There's the river! Look out! We're here.”
Max looked forward, and Anna was right. The stream from the waterfall was right below them. The thirst that had previously been quenched now surfaced and pushed her legs to run quickly there.
Max's hand cupped the water and drank contentedly. Next to him, Anna followed the same way. Their dry throats their sore lips now felt refreshed by the cool water.
Max turned to his side, his eyes mesmerized by Anna, who was wet from her chin to her neck. He silently gulped at the sight, then averted his eyes to stay conscious.
He stood up and looked around. “You clean yourself up here, I'll find some fish over there for us to eat tonight.” He looked at Anna calmly, hiding all his chaotic feelings.
Anna hesitated; she was afraid of Max being away from her. But she promised not to make things difficult for Max there if he came along. “Yeah, I'll scream if anything happens to me. So come quickly.”
Max scrunched up his face as he realized Anna was still bossing him around even though they were in the forest, but he didn't try to argue with her and just walked away.
He left her, sure there wouldn't be any problems since he wasn't going far. Max stepped into the shallow and clear river, every movement was visible there, there were a few small fish that crossed his feet, but he was sure there would be many other types of fish there too.
And he was right, Max didn't know what kind of fish it was. But one fish alone he estimated to weigh more than 500 grams. He got ready, picked up a sharp rock, and waited motionlessly. Just as the fish was about to pass him, he slammed the stone down and hit it.
“Yeah!” Max exclaimed with excitement. He threw the fish onto the rocks at the edge of the river and then set out to get another one.
Twice he had hit the target with the same rock, now catching the fish was an addiction for him. The third fish passed him by, and he was ready to throw the stone. Along with the sound of the stone hitting hard, Anna's scream was heard.
“Argh s**t!” Max didn't know if he had hit the fish or not, his body immediately turned around and ran from there with a thud to Anna.
Not far from there, he was stunned to see Anna, who was only wearing her underwear, her body looked plain, and the shape of her chest looked even more wild than Max had just imagined in his mind. His surprise increased when he saw where Anna was staring.
A grizzly bear was not far from the river. Max clenched his jaw, his adrenaline spiking as his heartbeat ceased to be abnormal.
If the grizzly bear moved, then its few steps were enough to get to Anna in just a few seconds. Max then expended all his strength to get to Anna. He ran with difficulty and almost fell while signaling with his finger that he put on his lips, for Anna to be quiet.
The bear moved. Max's movement to pull Anna from there caused it to move from its spot at high speed.
Max's breath was almost gone; the big bear was no match for him. But he remembered how to escape a grizzly bear.
He hugged Anna tightly, then dropped her to the ground. “Don't move, stay still. Don't make any noise,” He whispered in her ear.
Grizzly bears are ferocious; they are the kind that attack brutally. Putting up a fight against them is tantamount to being ready to die. On the other hand, if they were quiet and didn't put up a fight and pretended to be dead, the grizzly bear would leave them alone. He would not mark it as a threat.
Max pressed against her body as he realized that Anna was moving beneath him. He sneered softly at the woman with a sharp glare. Behind him, he felt the bear moving closer, but Anna risked their situation by not hearing him.
“It hurts...” Anna whimpered softly. “You hit my chest too hard.” She replied with a low whimper.
Max lowered his gaze, and now his heart almost gave out as all his instincts woke up and became sharp just because he felt and saw Anna's breasts right in front of his chest, and only a few centimeters away from his chin, if his head dropped accidentally, he could probably feel their warmth.
Anna's chest was so soft and supple that something down there woke up despite the precarious situation.
And Anna's gaze stared with wide, round eyes in disgust at him, making him feel even worse.
