“Argh....” A weak groan sounded from the mouth of Max Simpson, who woke up from unconsciousness. His head was throbbing, and his whole body was in pain.
He leaned his body to the side, trying to stabilize his senses against the onslaught of pain that kept coming at him as soon as he regained consciousness. As far as his eyes could see, he could only find large trees surrounding him, while the sky was almost invisible due to the tree branches and leaves covering it.
He slowly moved, but his whole body again shocked him with excruciating pain until he was back in a curled-up position quickly. “s**t!” his dry lips cursed in a weak voice.
Max Simpson was in the wilderness, and he didn't know how long he had been unconscious and lying on the cold ground. One thing was for sure, he felt his lips were very dry due to the pressure of the humid air, his mouth opened with difficulty, and he made a sound.
His eyes caught something resting on his shoulder, strangely, and then his hand moved to pick it up. He watched the object for a long time as he blinked, his consciousness still not fully returned to understand why a D-cup-sized bra was dangling from his hand.
“Argh... you p*****t!” a shout from the left made Max turn his head reflexively.
He was shocked when a water bottle was thrown at him and hit him right in the face as he had no time to dodge.
Max fell back to the ground, his hands covering his face as he groaned. He was sure the bridge of his nose had been broken by the impact. At least just a few minutes ago, he realized he was safe, but now his safety was threatened again.
He looked at the woman angrily. “Whatever you're trying to do, I don't understand why. But I'm pretty sure you're trying to kill me. Are you out of your mind?”
For a moment, Max didn't pay much attention. But once his eyes looked at the whole, he could see the same scene as heaven, and he knew who the owner of the D-Cup-sized bra in his hand was.
Even though he didn't own it, Max could feel how tight the clothes she was wearing were until her two protruding breasts seemed to be racing to get out to breathe a little more freely at the same time his eyes looked down, the tight shirt not only trapping her chest but also suffocating her flat stomach, so slim and small.
Max's eyes swept further down, and he saw that her smooth, slender legs, clad only in shorts, were covered in bruises and scratches.
“What are you looking at, you p*****t!” The blonde woman yelled at him with mingled horror and anger.
Max gasped. “I'm just worried, your leg is covered in cuts.” He replied spontaneously. His focus returned to her face, and that's when he realized who the woman was right in front of him.
She is Anna Cutberth, a beautiful woman who fascinates people not only because of her near-perfect looks but also because of her extraordinary brain. She is the Ceo of the place where Max works.
Anna Cuthbert built an online shopping app when she was 19 years old, and now, five years later, it's the E-commerce company with the most users across the country. The woman had risen to the top by successfully developing E-commerce into more than just an online shopping app but also a financial app.
“Miss Anna?” Max said her name quietly and somewhat anxiously.
“Who are you? How do you know me?” on the other hand. Anna was on guard; she quickly snatched a twig and pointed it like a sword at Max.
Max raised both hands, not intending to frighten her further in that place and become even more hysterical. “It's me, Max Simpson. I work in the cybersecurity team.”
Anna blinked, trying to remember. Her wary expression and gaze that implied fear changed in an instant. The eyes opened wide to stare sharply and angrily at him. “That's right, you're the head of the cyber team! You bastard! How can a p*****t like you be employed in my company? From now on, you're fired and never again appear in my presence!” she threw the branch at Max.
Was she angry just now?
Max was dumbfounded, but he caught the branch with his hand before it hurt him again.
He who used to feel responsible for Anna because she was his boss, now didn't bother to care too much about her attitude.
“I'm not sure I'll be able to work anytime soon either, so it's up to you.” He kicked the bra that had fallen on his shoe.
Anna flinched at that and was a little furious as she saw her personal belongings treated like disgusting things.
“Fire me, report it to the public relations department immediately,” He glanced at her flatly while walking slowly as his feet were still not fully used to it. He seemed reluctant to defend himself.
Max's indifferent attitude confused her. After all, the job in her company was a dream place for many people, and Max's attitude just now of accepting his dismissal was unreasonable.
Anna turned her body and looked at Max's back, who was still not far away. “Hey, you! Are you a spy? You should have refused to be fired if you didn't do anything wrong.”
For such an intelligent woman of her class, a woman who was well-schooled and broad-minded and had high achievements, she seemed careless with her accusations that were like a drama scenario. Max sighed. “Even if I explain, can I go back to work tomorrow? I'm too tired to respond to you, lady, who knows how long I'll last in this place.”
In that instant, Anna's mind cleared, the previous situation spinning in her mind. It was exactly 24 hours ago that the plane they were traveling on to Bali for a vacation exploded en route, a few hours after they took off.
At first, the crew said that there was an engine problem and asked them not to panic. But then, as the plane's altitude got lower, they began to prepare with parachutes. A huge commotion took place on board the plane before the explosion, and Anna, in confusion, stood silently among them.
One thing she remembers is that someone suddenly pulled her tight and hugged her, and they were thrown out of the plane. Anna tried to refocus on her memories and looked at Max.
That face was getting clearer in her memory. “You pulled me out of the plane. You saved me.” Her face looked guilty for her previous behavior.
Max was relaxed, now that he saw the girl calm and silent with her guilt, he felt sorry for her. Anna's shaking shoulders, which were shaking from the cold, were now clearly visible to him. “Since you already remembered, I don't need to waste time explaining our situation.” He took off the shirt he was wearing and draped it over Anna's shoulders.
