“We are many,” The Teacher replied. “Truly many,” he indulged himself.
“Together we shall be whole,” the congregation chanted.
The Teacher intoned:
“We raise our voices in harmony in thanks to Father Nahum, in whose heart was conceived this building, under whose direction it was constructed, with whose hands so much of it was built.”
“I am one,” Simon shouted, turning to Nahum beside him and raising his arm above his head like a champion.
“We are many,” Nahum roared with joy.”
“Together we shall be whole,” the congregation responded, Matthew first amongst them.
The Teacher sang:
“We symbolise our deliverance from destruction, and our coming back together - our re-unification - stronger than we have ever been, more numerous, with greater purpose.”
“I am one,” the congregation spoke
