Natasha fell off the mountain. Her screams penetrated my core. Percy had tumbled over too but grabbed hold of the cop"s arm. The determined cop pulled Percy back up on the cliff"s edge and immediately pinned him to the ground several feet away from any danger. April rushed to my side, and we approached the edge of the cliff. I didn"t know how far down the decline went at this part of the mountain. “Can you see her?” April prevented me from getting too close. “There"s a plateau about twenty feet below here. Natasha might not have dropped all the way down.” Connor showed up and directed a helicopter to shine a light across the top of the mountain to locate Natasha.
