Just as she was about to speak, the warehouse doors burst open, and a figure walked in, her eyes fixed Leila. "Mom?" the figure said. her voice trembling. Leila's eyes widened in shock as Sophia ran towards her, tears streaming down her face. "I found you," Sophia cried, throwing her arms around Leila's neck. Leila's world came to a standstill. Her secrets were about to be revealed, and her life was about to change forever. Leila's eyes widened as Sophia's words hung in the air. "Mom?" Sophia repeated, her voice trembling. Ryan's expression changed from shock to confusion. "Sophia? What are you...?" Leila's grip on Sophia tightened as she tried to his face. " Ah, yes, let's tell him Leila. The room erupted into chaos as Ryan's world was turned upside down. Sophia's eyes widened in shock, and Alex's smile wider, his plan unfolding perfectly. Sophia, Sensing the tension, began to whimper, and Leila instinctively reached out to comfort her. But Ryan was faster, Scooping up the little girl and holding her close. "You're not going anywhere," He growled, his eyes flashing with a warning. The room was electric with tension, the air thick with unspoken accusations and recriminations. Leila felt like she was drowning in the weight of it all, her heart heavy with grief and regret. Alex sneered, his eyes glinting with triumph. "You think you're so clever, Leila, but you're not going to get away with this. You're going to pay for what you've done, and I'm going to make sure of it."

Ryan's grip on Sophia tightened and Leila's heart sank. She knew she had to act fast, or risk losing everything. "I'll do whatever it takes," She said, her voice low and urgent. "Oh, I think we came to some agreement . But first, you need to tell the truth. Tell Ryan what happened to Emily. " Leila's eyes darted to Ryan, and she saw the pain and accusations there. She took a deep breath, knowing She had to come clean. but just as she was about to speak, Sophia suddenly looked up at Ryan and said, "Daddy, I think Mom needs a lawyer." Alex snorted, his expression twisted in disdain. "A layer? that's rich. You're going to need more than a lawyer Leila, you're going to need a miracle. " Ryan's gaze narrowed, his voice low and menacing. "What do you know, Alex? What are you hiding?" The air was thick with tension as everyone waited for Alex's response. And then, Sophia tugged on Ryan's hand, her eyes wide with a curious expression. Ryan looked down at Sophia, his expression softening slightly. "What is it, sweetie?" Sophia whispered, "I think mommy is trying to tell us something." Sophia noticed that Leila wants to say something but Alex just keeps on blocking her from saying anything.

The room fell silent, amd Leila's eyes welled up with tears. She knew she couldn't hide the truth any longer. Ryan's eyes snapped back Leila, his voice firm. "Leila, what's going on? What does Sophia mean?" I...I was there that night. I saw what happened to Emily." The room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Ryan's face was a mix if shock amd confusion. "What do you mean you were there? you weren't even in the country." Leila's eyes dropped, her voice cracking. "I...I was there. I came back early from my business trip. I saw Emily and Alex arguing, and then..." Sophia suddenly suffered climbed down from her chair and walked over to Leila. She climbed onto her lap, looking up at her with big curious eyes." Mommy tell Daddy the truth."

Leila hugged Sophia tight, her voice breaking. "I didn't mean to hurt anyone, Ryan I swear, it was accident." Ryan's face Went pale. "What are you saying, Leila? What happened to Emily?" Lea took a deep breath, her voice was shaking "I Saw Alex and Emily arguing, and then... I heard a scream. I drove the car where the scream came from and I saw Alex pointing a gun pointing towards Emily. I drove the car so that I could hit Alex, but Alex quickly moved out of the way and pushed Emily towards the car. I tried to stop but my breaks stopped functioning and then the car hit her." The whole room went silent. Ryan's eyes were filled with shock, fear, anger, horror amd curiosity. Tears were rolling down Ryan's eyes and so is Sophia's. Ryan never thought that someone whom he trusted so much would do such a thing. Ryan's voice was barely above a whisper. "What happened next?" Leila's eyes welled up with tears. "I panicked and Alex told me to get away, to leave her there...and I did." The room. was heavy with tension as Leila's words hung in the air. Ryan's face was aix of shock and horror, his eyes searching Leila's face for answers. "Why didn't you ca the police?" He asked, his voice shocking with emotion. Leila shook her head, tears streaming down her face. "I was scared, Ryan.I was scared of what Alex would do to me and Sophia. He threatened me, told me he'd hurt us if I said anything." Sophia, Sensing her mother's distress, wrapped her arms around Leila's neck, holding her tight. The warmth of Sophia's embrace seemed to cut through the icy dread that settled over Leila. It's okay, we're here for you, "Sophia whispered, her voice steady despite the tremor in her hands. Rya , Stull shaken took a shacks breath and glanced at the door as Alex burst out. Ryan thought that everything was finally over. Little did he know that there is still alot more to come.
