Aashi herself didn’t know just what it was that had prompted her to do such a shameless thing. She had done it only once, and that too under the intoxicating influence of Raj. He had brought a new CD and his portable CD player and the two of them had spent almost an entire hour moving along to its music in the limited space that her room afforded. She had noticed the window open, she had seen Abhi moving inside his room. And yet, she didn’t draw the curtains. She was too furious at Abhi to try and shield him from any pain. And it had felt too good a way to make it apparent to him how much she loved Raj, and how far above him her darling prince was.
The message, evidently, had been taken.
‘Oh! You shouldn’t have!’ words fell over each other as she stumbled between past and present.
