📖 CHAPTER XI
THE POWER WITHIN
The words of the Elder echoed in my mind like a bell. "Welcome back, Your Highness."
I looked at my hands, watching as a faint golden light seemed to glow from beneath my skin. It was warm, comforting, yet incredibly powerful. It felt like I was holding the entire universe in my palms.
"Elana?" Lance called softly, breaking the silence. "Are you alright?"
I turned to him and smiled. It wasn't just a normal smile. It felt like my whole being was shining from the inside out.
"I'm more than alright, Lance," I said, my voice steady and clear. "I feel... complete. Like I finally found who I really am."
Lance stepped closer and wrapped his arms around me. He buried his face in my neck, inhaling my scent deeply.
"You are magnificent, my Queen," he whispered against my skin. "I can feel your power. It's overwhelming. Even I... even I feel small compared to you now."
I pulled back slightly and cupped his face with my hands. "No, Lance. We are equals. You are my Alpha, my mate, my heart. This power... it's ours to share. Together, we are unstoppable."
Just then, a sudden sharp pain shot through my head. I winced and closed my eyes.
"Elana! What's wrong?" Lance asked immediately, holding me tighter.
Images flashed before my eyes. Dark forests, burning buildings, and faces of people I didn't know but felt familiar. And then... I saw them. The men who attacked us. They were gathering in a hidden place, planning their next move.
"I can see them," I said, opening my eyes wide. "I can see where they are. I can hear their thoughts."
Lance looked at me in awe. "You can do that now?"
"Yes," I nodded. "They are planning to attack again. Soon. They think I am still weak, that I am just a prize to be taken. But they don't know... the huntress has awakened."
A fierce determination burned in my chest. No longer would I be the one hiding or running away. I was the Princess of the Wolves. I was the Luna, the Queen. And I would protect my pack, my mate, and my home at all costs.
"Tell the pack to prepare," I said, looking straight into Lance's eyes. "Tell them that the Royal Blood has returned. And this time... we will not just defend ourselves. We will fight back."
