For Your Love

Maja has been found

The amount of t*****e was so much that Anthony could not take it any more. He thought that he had the upper hand in the situation but he clearly underestimated Adrian's ruthlessness. The man was not human, he was simply insane. Who in there right mind feeds people there body parts as food and their blood as a drink.

Anthony felt like vomiting every finger of his that he had eaten, he wanted to throw up the ear the made him eat but he couldn't. He could taste his own blood in his mouth. He couldn't take it anymore, this was not just physical but mental t*****e as well. He was in so much pain that he wished that God would have mercy on him and let him die. The pain from his hands and his ear were killing him.

He knew that Adrian was far from done with him, he was like a wounded lion and he would go any length to get his payback. He said that he had no plans of killing him but he is slowly killing the humanity left inside of Anthony. Eating ones own body parts does that to you.

He had to speak and tell them what he had done to Maja or else his situation will get worse. He couldn't take anymore pain, he was slowly loosing consciousness. He decided to tell them what they wanted to know. "I have kept Maja in an abandoned boat at the other side of the lake." He whispered to the man who was preparing to cut off his other ear.

"He spoke boss, he told me the location where he kept the young miss" said the man looking at Matthew who told him to take a few men with him to check it out. The men left immediately, they drove to the lake and took an electric boat which was fast to the other side of the lake. They scouted the area for an abandoned boat until they found it. They entered the boat and found a body of a woman wearing a white dress with white shoes. 

Her hair tied in a perfect bun with no single hair being out of place. She lay there facing upwards surrounded by pink roses which happened to be Maja favorite color. The flowers still looked fresh and so did the body and Matthew's men having had experience with dead bodies new that she was dead. They also knew that she must have been dumped there not long ago. They took out a photo from their pocket and compared it to the woman and it was a match. Maja has been found but dead.

The men debated on who among them would call their boss and inform him that his sister in law was dead. They were all filled with dread when they imagined what their boss's brother would do to them when they present him with his wife's dead body. Just then Matthew called Mark his right hand man.

"He...hello." Mark stuttered when he answered the which gave Matthew a sign that something wasn't right. "What happened, what did you find ?" He asked Mark going straight to business.

"Boss, I am sorry to inform you that Maja is dead. We found her corpse here and it doesn't look like she died that long ago. I think one of Anthony's accomplice must have done it. I will bring her body over after this...." He didn't get to finish the call as Matthew hung up the phone. 

"What did he say did they find her in that location,"asked Clara who had found out about what happened. Matthew had no idea how to tell her the news that he had received. 

He had watched all three of them grow up together and he was like an elder brother to all of them. It hurts him so much to hear about what happened to Maja, he never told anyone but he loved her more than all his other siblings including Adrian. He loved how strong she was no matter what she went through in life. He loved how she always managed to get back up no matter what life threw at her. He loved how she never gave up on anything she put her mind and heart to which included his brother with whom he thought wasn't worthy of her.

He had always loved she was loyal to a cause, she didn't tolerate nonsense from anyone and pushed back whenever someone pushed her. She was his brave, courageous, intelligent and strong little sister. The sister he never had to worry about but still did, the sister who never needed his protection as a child despite him providing it. The girl who sometimes acted mature for her own age when she was young. 

How could someone take away such a precious jewel from him. His heart broke at the thought of never seeing his sister again. When he thought that he will never get to see her beautiful smile ever again shuttered his last resolve and he fell to the floor. 

Clara who was now getting worried after seeing Matthew condition bent down and embraced him. She wanted to know what was wrong but decided to ask him after he calms down. His body trembled vigorously in her embrace while tears of disbelief flowed down his cheeks. He wanted so much to see Maja's glow once again but he knew that it was never going to be possible ever again.

His mind took him to when they were children and how she used to complain when he failed to get her favorite candy for her everyday. She would demand that he brings her gifts every weekend as it would strengthen their bond and despite knowing that she was making it all up just to get gifts from him he still bought her whatever she wanted.

He didn't have a bad relationship with his siblings but he doted on Maja more than them. He got along with her better than he did with his own siblings and friends. Maja was his sister, his friend and confidant. They never kept anything from each other, she told him when she first started having a crush on Adrian and when she was sure that she was in love with him. She even asked for his opinion when she decided to come back and propose to Adrian.

His tears never stopped flowing as he remembered all the birthdays and festivals they celebrated together and how he is going to have to celebrate without her this year and many more to come. He knew that he needed to be strong for his family now. He couldn't afford to be weak but his body and heart refused to cooperate with when he tried to get himself back up. His heart has never felt so much pain in his twenty eight years on earth. He felt a part of his has been forcefully ripped out of his chest.

He had always prayed for her to be happy but fate always seems to have other plans for her. He not lost a friend, sister and confidant but also a part of his soul.

"They found Maja, she is dead." He whispered to Clara before his body gave out and he fainted.
