Wedding celebrations

We took photos with everyone who came to our wedding, the reporters also took photos of us. We all then proceeded to go to the resort. Some of the guests who couldn't go to the resort with us like the president apologized in advance before leaving.

The party was amazing and everyone seemed to be having a good time. I for one am very tired as I haven't had a proper rest in twenty four hours. I was so excited about going on a date with Adrian that I barely got any sleep last night, the entire day was spent getting ready for the date and now the wedding. I am exhausted beyond anyone's imagination.

A five tier cake was brought over by the pool where the party was by the resort staff. Need I say that the pool looks like it was taken out of a scene from a movie. With scented candles all over the place, flowers of different colors adorning the floors and the walls. The lights decorations was not lacking behind either. The table arrangement was so beautiful and filled with all types of foods for everyone to enjoy.

I have thanked so many people who have congratulated me tonight. I am mentally,emotionally and physically exhausted but the party has only just began. We cut the cake and feed each other before feeding our families.

The slow song started playing and as the traditions dictate Adrian and I have to open the dance floor. We got up from our seats and headed to dance floor. He took my hand in his and placed his other hand on my waist and led me in a slow dance. I lay my head on his shoulders and let myself in the song and in him. We danced so beautifully and it seemed as time had also slowed down with us. 

"You look beautiful today," he whispered in ear before gently kissing me on my forehead. I smiled with my eyes closed as I am too tired to respond to him.

You are my every reason to be happy and today you have become mine. From now till my last breath I will cherish this moment and also this day. As long as I love you I will never leave you, you are my life and loving you is the best thing that I could have ever done in my whole life.

The song ended and he carried me back to our seats and we sat down and watched as the others danced. Professional dancers were performing for us as we watched. I feel so tired that I just want to close my eyes and sleep but I also don't want to miss out on anything. 

I tried to hold on for so long but I couldn't do it anymore, I leaned on his shoulder and allowed myself to drift off to dream land.

The bride fell asleep in her own wedding celebration but she can't be blamed. It is almost morning, it is expected for her to fall asleep considering how little rest she has gotten in last hours. Adrian being a gentleman took out his coat and used it to cover her up. He held her as she slept and made sure that she had a comfortable sleeping position.

The party ended at 4:00 am, everyone left the resort and those who were too tired to go back home booked a room in the resort. The entire resort was completely full and others had to move to the nearby hotels to find a place to sleep. 

Adrian carried his bride in his arms and took her to the car. The driver drove them to the airport where they boarded his private plane. Adrian played her down gently before laying down himself to get some rest. And just like that the two newly wedded couple fell asleep while on their way to their honeymoon destination.

They slept so peacefully as they were finally relieved of all the pain and stress of being apart from each other for such a long time. 

The day had been both memorable and exhausting for the lovely couple who have united after a long time apart. The couple were sleeping peacefully unaware of the chaos they caused not just in S city but in the whole country. Both the men and women of S city were in disarray after learning about their wedding which was being broadcasted in every news channel. The women were stunned at how fast they lost the most eligible bachelor in the whole country but other women were dazzled by how everything was so beautiful despite it all being last minute arrangement.

Those who dreamt of marrying Adrian were completely heartbroken by news. Even the men who had plans of getting their sisters to him were also shattered by the news of him getting. They attended the wedding and celebrated with him but almost everyone at the celebration was unhappy about the union but none dared to say it. Some men who were had their eyes set on the young miss of Salvador family were also heartbroken.

It was no secret that Maja was her grandfather's favorite and because of this she was bound to have a large inheritance. And they weren't wrong as she was given four pharmaceutical companies as her wedding gift from her grandfather who also gave her a total of 10% shares in all their other companies. And it doesn't end there her father has gifted her one of their hospitals as a gift. She has become a very rich young woman and let's not mention the other gifts from the enfluencial families of the country who attended the party.

Adrian also bought her the famous lux hotel as a gift while the Andrada family gave her four villas around the country. Each for the different seasons of the year, there is a winter house and summer house and more. They both have gotten so much wealth in just one night to last them a life time. Even if they lived the rest of their life without work they will still live lavishly.

A lot of hearts and dreams were broken tonight, imagine two powerful people from exceptional background getting married to each other. Have they not heard of opposite attracts. The people of S city were most affected by this marriage, if the couple combine their wealth and power they will become untouchable. This wedding has taken the business tycoon to a completely different level from what he was before.

Not only is he the most powerful man in the country but now that he has married in to the Salvador family, he has become more powerful with more powerful backing.
