I liked the idea of staying hidden in an isolated place, surrounded by nature only. Especially if the place had its own lake! Some would expect the near drowning experience to discourage me but that wasn’t my case. Water was part of me, and I felt more alive swimming than running in the woods. The same applied to my wolf.
