MY PATIENCE

"Sir, I know that this seems sudden and unbelievably fast, but we do things differently in the werewolf world. Once we meet our soul mate, we are ready to "mark" them immediately and become bonded. It is in our nature to keep our loved ones as close as possible. We are 100 percent certain that this is the person we want to spend our lives with. I am fully and completely dedicated to your daughter. There is no question in my mind that she is mine, and I am hers", Marvin desperately explained.

I made a little move over to Dad and wrapped his arms around him. "Dad, this is what I want. I'm not afraid of the responsibility. I know that I love him as long as I live. I don't need to take any more time to think about this or get to know him better. My heart already knows him. He is my other half. I'm not complete without him. I will never change my mind. I don't need to wonder if he's the right man for me. We can all see that this was destined long ago."

Marvin didn't speak up or add to what I said. My heart swells with the words as I speak. Dad looks at me and shakes his head. Mom took my hand in hers. She reassures me in our minds, "He will come around eventually."

"No, princess, you aren't moving in there, and you certainly getting married at 18!? To your teacher? Oh! Gosh!" He spoke with finality. His words crush me.

I could see the despair on Marvin's face. He was so worried about this.

Taking a deep breath then I said, "Dad is right, Marvin, it's better for us to stay away for a while now. I think it's better to avoid some issues or any problems may occur in the future. You may leave now. I can manage myself."

I know my face is so sad, but I can't do anything, if my parents will disagree.

However, it takes one minute for Marvin to answer me. "Okay.." he said.

Marvin and Jolina left our home without any words. It feels like I Left all alone. Silently I walked upstairs trying to move forward on the upcoming days.

Days come and go, I watched Tagi suffered also, but I'm here to comfort her pain.

"It's so bad Besh.. I think if you feel unwell. That's what I felt too. If you feel happy, and comfortable, it become less in pain everytime I change to my wolf form. It's connected! We, the three of us, Alpha Marvin, you and me are connected! I knew it!" Tagi explained.

I've been thinking for a while now, My suffering is her suffering too.

"I'm also thinking that it's like a course that we are connected as one. I think it's normal for a wolf family." I said

"But it's not what I think, I saw-" Tagi said, but she suddenly stop.

"What did you saw in your vision?" I clarified.

"I saw in the end, you will be happy with the ones that you love." Tagi said then she smiled.

I didn't feel that she was telling me the truth but I hope she has a good reason.

"You're making me nervous! go out and leave me alone.." I said jokingly. I heard her laugh at me.

Just after two hours, my sickness attacked. Mom called Marvin for a help. Thankful that soulmate arrive in a couple of minutes.

"Thank you for staying with me. I feel better now. But I am still frustrated with my dad. He has no idea about the "marked " I said.

"I think he will change his mind. Just be patient."

Marvin said, even though I don't feel that way for myself.

I want Marvin to take me in front of my Dad, where there is no doubt and concern issues. But that is irrational, and I need to be mature about this. He is the Alpha, after all. I have to respect his decisions. I continued to hold Marvin close, let him wrap me in his warmth. Then he placed a kiss on my head.

"I don't want you to leave, but I know you have to go. So I won't beg you to stay." I said.

After a few more minutes of blissful hugging, I remove myself from him, and he makes sure that I get into my room.

I have enough time to take a shower, eat, and go to bed. Today will be a better feeling from suffering. It's even better that my wolf and his wolf have officially met. My wolf is anxious and worried about her mate. That's why, I want to be close to him!

Well, I am going to have to try and block my emotions if I plan to get anything done today. So I stayed at home.

"Hey Besh! I cooked something for you, isn't it your favorite?" Tagi asks. I smelled her cooking. So I know that is my favorite, a bowl of fried rice and crispy dried fish.

"Thank you." I said, and she placed it on the table. She let me eat the food after we talked about what happened last night.

"It was about last night. I thought of putting two cameras in the back and front of the house so we can use that as evidence." Tagi suggests.

"That's a good idea. I'm worried about Mom and Dad. If it weren't for our sickness, I wouldn't be able to do everything. But I am thankful that you are here. I'm comfortable with that. One day, I will be able to make it up to you too." I said.

"Alright, all we have to do is stay close until this sickness ends. I always take my medicine to fight this pain, but I have to challenge myself and run outside just to get rid of my headache. I also tried to check on Mom through my vision; she's been fine, but I really miss her." Tagi said, and then she sighs at the window.

Marvin headed to work reluctantly. His empty seat is torturing me. He can barely concentrate. He assigned silent reading in most of his classes. His brothers check in on him through the mind link.

My wolf howls an agonizingly sad sound every time I change. And when I was in human form, all that happened to me was moaning and crying.

"You have to help her." Mom says as she called Marvin right away.

"Where is she?" Marvin asked urgently when he arrive at home.

"She's in her room.." Mom said.

Marvin quickly went upstairs and rushed into my room. I was on my bed, rocking back and forth, full of sweat. He sat on the edge of my bed, then I laid my head on his lap.
