GHALE EXISTENCE

"We heard that our Alpha introduced a new Luna to our pack. So, we are here to confirm if it is you?"

The one female wolf asks. She is taller than me. Based on her appearance. She might be smarter, and pretty as I am. To estimate her, she is 3 to 5 years older than me. Then I said, "Are you talking about Alpha Marvin?"

"No other than." She replied.

What will be their reaction when I say that it is me? If I look into their eyes one by one, I know they want to know it right now. I'm in deep thoughts, should I tell them or not?

"Yes, I am."

"Alright then, did he tell you that we were supposed to be having a date?" She said.

What? It seems impossible for this to happen? I didn't know that Alpha Marvin had another girl to date with. Also the Luna, did she knows about her? I didn't expect this, and it was really surprising!

"No! He said he didn't try to date someone even before," I said softly. I tried to calm myself and even my wolf started to be angry, I could feel her presence inside of me that she wanted to come out.

"So now you know, get yourself away from him! I'm warning you!" She said.

"May I know your name, please?"

"You don't have to know my name. Since I am not that special in the pack. Not until he introduces me as his soul mate." She said.

A soul mate? Is she kidding me? I ask myself.

"Now, you should know your place. If ever we meet again with the Alpha, Make sure you didn't stand in my way if you don't want to be stepped on." She added to remind me.

I know my wolf form is smaller than her, but it hurts! And the way she approached me? She announces it in front of everyone. She underestimated me that much. What's more? "Is that all?" I made a follow. When she turned around, preparing to leave.

She stayed in Surigao? Why didn't I recognize her or smell her before? I ask myself as I'm thinking deeply.

"Now, show me what you've got. Prove to us that you deserve to be the leader of the pack." The female one who talked to me first, asked.

She turned to her two fellow female wolves in human form. She didn't speak, but I knew they were talking through their links. I lose in that situation because I don't have the ability to do that with fellow werewolves yet.

Then she turned her gaze at three male werewolves. The same way, she talks to them through their link. In that way, I felt apprehensive. And one of them, challenged me.

"Show me now what you're good at." The male one said. His eyes were even widening now. Then I realized that this is what they came here for.

"There is a space on the other side; defeat her tonight in a fight. If you beat her, she will let you stay close with Alpha. But if you don't, we will be forced to put you away from here, including your family." The other female werewolf said.

"And this beautiful house will be burned." another one of them said.

The fact that my family accepted me as a human werewolf. Now they will sympathize because of my indifferences. I've been through hard times for my transition, and I was able to do it because there is someone who loves and supports me, and that is Marvin. I thought everything was okay in the pack, but I was wrong. These werewolves want me out of Marvin's life, and for Marvin? He needs to explain this.

I joined them without a moment's pause, driven by the desperate hope of making it back to our home in one piece. I was unsure to their true intentions, yet I steeled myself for whatever challenges lay ahead, prepared to confront any threat that might come on my way.

As we stepped into the vacant lot, we were greeted by a scattering of discarded wine bottles, along with a few tables and chairs that seemed to have been left behind in haste. The three male werewolves had now doubled in number, transforming into a formidable group of six. While their names elude me, an instinctual awareness tells me, that they really belong to the pack led by Alpha Marvin, a presence that looms large in the shadows of this gathering.

"This fight! is to prove who deserves to be the next Luna. I know this is new to you, but you still have time to back off." The female one said. Who talked to me first earlier.

"My name is Ghale, and as you heard earlier, we will fight as humans, not as werewolves. I just want to be fair to you, little one. There is one rule in this fight. Three knockdowns will be considered a loss. Did you get it?" She said

"But I don't want to fight!" I said, and suddenly, all of them laughed.

"The fight is final, get ready!"

One of the females in the group shouted at me as she ordered that I should place myself in the middle. She threw me a thin cotton glove. The female one named Ghale went to the center with arrogance in her looks. She is positive about herself and says that she will beat me. I just made up my mind and prayed at the same time.

I put on the gloves that were thrown to me, while I'm still thinking if I am doing this right or wrong?

One male werewolf came to the center and said,

"Girls, get ready!"

I was standing in the center, looking at my hands. I remember Stella, our fight was unexpected, and I have no experience. But now I realize that those experiences taught me to fight, even though I don't want to hurt anyone after Stella. I just want a peaceful life as a normal person.

"What are you thinking? want to back off?"

Ghale said, and the rest laughed.

"I don't want to hurt anyone." I said. But still, they don't mind me. It was obvious from her face that she still wanted to fight with me.

One male announced, "The challenge will now start. A three, a two, one, and fight!"

Then she made a move to punch me. But I was able to avoid it. She growls.

She was kicked me now, three times. Spinning quickly, a straight leg shot out to hit me in the head, but I deflected it with my left arm. She looks so angry.

"I'm tired of this! Why don't you fight?" Ghale shouted.

Her body glistens with sweat as she breathes heavily from the exertion of her actions. In my mind, I can't help but chuckle at the sight. Despite her height advantage over me, I am confident in my ability, that I can take her down if it comes to that.

I shifted two steps to my right, directing my attention towards her as I donned my gloves and lifted my hand. Others, may keep their palms clenched for a fight, but my approach is characterized by an open hand. This is the essence of my fighting style; I only close my fist at the moment of impact, to my opponent. Good timing is the best.

"Ha...!!!"

As expected, we attack each other at the same time. Leading the way is a strong fist that was released in the air, using all the strength that comes from our whole body.

Our two fists met at one time. I felt the bones in my fingers seemed to explode and crumble. By looking her in the eyes, she looks fine. My heartbeat increased, I was about to give her another one shot, but someone suddenly came.

"Stop this nonsense fight!"
